This year’s NYC Real Estate & Trading Conference & Expo was one of the most interesting events that I had the opportunity to attend. The conference, which was organised by the Real Estate & Trading Club of New York, was geared toward bringing together the city’s real estate and trading communities, connecting people, and providing them with the latest industry news.
The main arena of the conference, held at the NYU Grad School of Management, was the Egan Garden, an outdoor space that is part of the graduate school’s campus. Several greenhouses, which were on display, provided the perfect backdrop for networking events.
The Venue Is Spectacular
The Venue is Spectacular, the conference’s official hospitality partner, upgraded our stay from a standard room to a mini-suite, which provided us with a more luxurious experience. The space was designed to provide a memorable and luxurious experience for all attendees.
The hotel’s restaurant, Bar Luce, catered to all tastes, with a selection of small bites, such as green cheese and walnut crostini, and larger plated classics, like BBQ Spareribs and Stove Top Pizza. One of the highlights of our stay was a visit to Bar Luce, where we were able to mingle with other hotel guests and enjoy some great food and conversation.
An Unexpected Twist
An unexpected twist that added a novel experience to the conference was the inclusion of a pop-up retail space called The Mini Mart. Located on the first floor of Bar Luce, this unique retail space showcased a curated collection of affordable luxury goods, from Marc Jacobs’ fashion line to Kate Spade’s handbags and sunglasses. These brands typically aren’t available in small stores, so this was a real treat for attendees.
A Great Opportunity To Network
A great opportunity to network for attendees was the inclusion of special guest and keynote speaker, Martha Stewart. The renowned fashion expert and host of Martha Stewart Living, stopped by Bar Luce to meet with attendees and to answer some questions about fashion. She spent about half of her time talking about lifestyle topics, such as cooking and entertaining, and half answering questions about fashion. While this was slightly frustrating for attendees who wanted to hear more about the fashion industry, it was still a great opportunity to network and learn more about cooking and entertaining from one of the country’s most well-known chefs.
One of the highlights of the expo, which was located in the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center, was the presence of numerous brands and businesses that are relevant to real estate and trading. From the Big Apple to Beverly Hills, attendees were able to meet with representatives from famous brands, such as Tiffany & Co. and Marc Jacobs, to learn about their products and hear what they have to say about the industry. This is also where attendees could find invaluable information about apartments for sale in New York City, as well as network with brokers and realty agents from around the city.
Looking Forward To Next Year’s Conference
I’m looking forward to next year’s conference, as I was able to attend one of the city’s most awaited real estate events. I’m especially interested in learning more about e-commerce and how it can influence my business. While I’m sure that there will be a lot to learn, I’m also confident that it will be an invaluable experience, which I will look back on in the future.
