An online marketing manager who also does account management is someone who manages a portfolio of digital marketing projects. The main duty of this type of DMM is to create and optimize digital marketing campaigns for clients. They will be responsible for analyzing website performance, identifying conversion trends, and maximizing marketing ROI.

While the main duty of a DMM is to sell products or services, the account manager’s role is to ensure that those products or services are marketed correctly and in a way that will generate sales.
