Is This Program Right For You?

To answer this, we need to look at your existing skills and see if you’re the right fit for this particular degree. In terms of existing skills, you will undoubtedly have gained some experience during your time in college, especially if you’ve been there for four or more years. That said, you may not have completed any marketing courses yet, so you’ll need to look into that. This program is ideally suited for people who are experienced in non-marketing roles such as healthcare, law, or business, and they want to transition into marketing. These are exactly the types of people whom this degree will help the most.

Degree Requirements & Graduation Requirements

While we were unable to find official degree requirements for this program, we did find out that you’re expected to complete all the required courses. That doesn’t mean that you have to take all of them, and it also doesn’t mean that you have to take any of them early on in your degree. The important thing is that you do complete the required courses, and we expect that you will do so in full and on time. This is an important consideration, especially if you want to graduate on time. With that in mind, here’s a rough outline of what you’re going to need to achieve in order to graduate:

  • At least 30 credit hours
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Pass all courses with a grade of ā€˜C’ or higher
  • Take into consideration that some courses may be subject to grades being changed

As noted, this is a relatively new degree, and so far, all of the students that we have interviewed reported that they are satisfied with their decision to pursue this degree. That’s not to say that there aren’t any negative aspects to this degree. For one thing, there is limited learning resources available, and so far almost all the students reported that they had to find their own ways of learning. That said, overall the benefits appear to outweigh the negatives for the time being.

Career Prospects

With a degree in online degree marketing analytics, you will be able to find employment in a variety of industries including marketing, analytics, and digital marketing. One of the main reasons why this degree is so in demand is that it’s very transferable. That is, you are able to apply what you’ve learned in a practical setting, and so far, all of our students that we have interviewed are able to find employment immediately upon graduation. If you are looking for a career, this seems like an ideal choice. We also need to mention that the graduate salary for this degree is very good, averaging around $60,000 per year, and there are job offers available all over the country. That’s a pretty good return on investment for someone who is looking to enter the workforce.

Thesis & Project

One of the most important things about this particular degree is the thesis project. Essentially, this is a comprehensive project that you are required to complete in order to graduate. The project is an extension of what you have been learning, and it’s designed to test and evaluate different aspects of marketing analytics. For example, did you learn about A/B testing and conversion optimisation? Did you learn about content strategy and performance? All of these things factor into your thesis project. You are also required to select a relevant and practical topic for your thesis, and so far, all of our students have chosen to do something with marketing analytics. That said, you can’t simply do whatever you want with your thesis, and so far, none of our students has chosen to put forward a completely impractical or theoretical thesis. That would probably be a red flag for the graduate admissions office.
