Branding And Marketing

Branding and marketing are essential to any business, and this is no different for not-for-profits. You will be responsible for crafting a brand identity and marketing strategy to build awareness and interest in IFAW among the right audience.

You will build an inbound marketing strategy using content and social media to capture leads and turn them into paying customers. You will work with the media team to plan and produce content including blogs, webinews, infographics and video advertisements that reinforce the brand’s mission and values. You will ensure that all marketing materials reflect an even and cohesive brand voice and reflect our target audience.

Where will you be working?

You will be based either in our London or Tokyo offices but you may travel occasionally to clients, partners and colleagues. Due to IFAW’s global reach you may be working remotely for some clients.

Marketing Plan

You will develop and maintain the IFAW marketing plan, which will consist of a brand identity, vision, mission and values. You will work with the marketing team and senior management to review and approve all marketing material including advertising, website and social media content.

The plan will include key performance indicators and a benchmarking analysis against which you will track and report performance.

As a digital marketer you will develop and maintain the IFAW content strategy, which will consist of the creation and deployment of online media including blogs, case studies, e-books and webinars. You will work with the marketing team and senior management to review and approve all content.

The content strategy will form part of the overall marketing plan and serve as the central document guiding the research and creation of content including blog posts, infographics and videos. You will use an integrated marketing approach, combining digital and traditional marketing methods to gain market share and grow the business.

Direct Marketing

You will be responsible for the performance of any direct marketing activity including email marketing, SMS marketing, and phone marketing. You will work with the marketing team to analyse and review the performance of direct marketing campaigns.

This is a specialist area of marketing and if you are looking to develop your skills in this area, then apply today!

Analysis And Evaluation

You will analyse and evaluate the performance of online campaigns, tracking results including lead generation, click-through rates and the ROI of each campaign. You will work with the marketing team and senior management to interpret results, identify problem areas and make recommendations for improvement.

This is not a role for someone who wants to play around with marketing programs and wishy-washy campaigns. This is a specialist field, and you will need to understand the importance of measuring results and evaluating performance. You need to be able to report on the results of your work, analyse trends and set new performance metrics for future marketing plans.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud

You will need to be familiar with the Salesforce marketing cloud, which is integrated with our web analytics package Hitwise Orion. Our research shows that 49% of B2B buyers used online marketplaces to find products and services, while only 16% used salespeople directly.

The benefits of the Marketing Cloud include being able to create automated email campaigns, analyse marketing performance and generate custom reports. You will need to be comfortable working in this tool and have a good understanding of how to use it efficiently.

This is a full time position based in either London or Tokyo.
